We petition the Obama administration to take actions in stopping police brutality in the United States. Hundreds of unarmed people are shot and killed each year by police officers. Excessive force is used by police officers and excessive force often goes unpunished. Officers should be trained to handle situations without using excessive force and officers who use excessive force should be punished, fired and in arrested. Police shootings of unarmed people are on the rise. We would like the white house to put a stop to the police shootings of unarmed victims. The police department should not be the judge, jury, and executioner. Police should not be allowed to regulate themselves and excuse themselves of crimes. Police should be held responsible for their crimes against citizens.
