We ask President Obama to support a Congo(DRC) peace convention in Washington D.C.as requested in February mail sent to him by Congo Freedom Alliance(umbrella for pro-democracy groups in DRC & around the world).Opposition & civil society groups seek this because they trust USA & UN to host positive first negotiations; other countries too biased. Delegates in DC on neutral ground will be safe to speak & debate without fear. DRC government is rated among the most corrupt; during its 15 year rule is blamable for continuing crisis, the worst wars on earth since WWll, crimes, millions dead, wounded, raped, starved, poverty, disease, displacement, rigged elections, oppressions, & denial of: basic services, human rights, justice, rule of law, freedoms, liberty,& equality. see www.congofreedom.org
