By ending the tax audit of Mr. Trump, President Obama can relieve Mr. Trump of his legal counsel's concern that he should not share his taxes with the electorate while under audit. Mr. Trump should be allowed to comfortably release his taxes without any ongoing audit or dispute by the government. Any discrepemcy whose resolution might have resulted in additional tax collection has a value that is infinitesimally small relative to the right of voters to be able to clear up rumors that their candidate might be broke, in debt to Russian influencials, less charitable than he has expressed, or a plethora of other unsubstantiated rumors. We the people demand, Mr. President, that you give Mr. Trump the confidence he needs to share his tax returns with his voters. END THIS AUDIT!
