The power of Attorney law is tearing my family apart. My sister recently said she wanted to bury my mom in the cheapest graveyard in Illinois and my mom's body is not even cold. She also took it upon herself to fill out forms for Health and Human resources when she did not want to join someone's program because someone wanted her to. My mom wrote up a will in 1996 when I had problems leaving my stuff to my sister and her divorced friend. That would mean everything in the house would be theirs including the stuff in my closet that I hold dear. Please revise or abolish this law it has made a great divide in my family.
