We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

We, the residents of Indian Occupied Kashmir want the US administration to persuade India for a plebiscite in the state.

Created by S.H. on August 24, 2016

US is looked upon as the pinnacle of success & prosperity & more importantly as an intervening country that helps resolve disputes all across the world. Mr. President do our lives count for nothing. India got its independence from the British in 1947, our freedom has remained a distant dream. We have since been subjected to countless atrocities & genocides. You name the atrocity & we Kashmiris have faced it at the hands of the Indian security forces. Since july of this year 69 people have already been killed while protesting against the Indian occupation. Mr. President all we ask is that we be given a fair chance to determine our future. In this regard we want the United States to persuade india to hold a plebiscite in the state according to the UN resolution & stop the bloodbath.
