We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

We respectfully ask the IRS to drop cease the audit of Donald Trump so he can release his tax returns.

Created by C.P. on September 04, 2016

In the interest of National Security, we the people respectfully ask that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) cease auditing the tax returns of presidential candidate, Donald J. Trump, so that Mr. Trump may release his tax returns for review by the public before the November 8, 2016 presidential election.
The position of President of the United States of America is the most powerful office in the world and the release of Mr. Trump's tax returns will allow the voting public to determine if he is fiscally responsible enough to handle the Country's economy. Secondly, Mr. Trump's tax returns may show if he is in debt to foreign interests to the point he may be manipulated by said interests. We understand the decision to release Mr. Trump's returns is his alone and not the IRS.
