We believe in, “Government by the people; especially: rule of the majority: a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections.”
“In a democracy, every citizen should have the right to vote. Currently voting is a privilege, a privilege which depends upon one’s, state of residence. This privilege may come with impediments, such as extended waiting periods, specific identification, and ballots which are not counted. In some states felons who have paid their debt to society are permanently denied voting privileges. We firmly believe that our democracy is dependent upon constitutional protected voting rights, not voting privileges.
