In the past 3 years there has been over 205 school shootings which is approximately 1 shooting per week. We should be arming our teachers or at least giving the teachers the option to carry a gun on campus. The teachers are the first line of defense for our children and we should give them more than a few sharp pencils and a couple long rulers to fight with. WE SHOULD GIVE THEM GUNS. By the time first responders arrive to the scene most of the shootings have already ended that why we need people on campuses who are trained and ready to fight when the time calls for it.
