Today our nuclear power plants run 3 to 6 hours twice a day at peak power and produce 24% of our lowest cost electricity. A smart grid doubles everything and will lower our electric cost and cleaner air. All the other non-nuclear plants should run on natural gas. This will also lower our electric cost and provide us with cleaner air..
