The people of the United States elected our congressional members then we should be able to vote on their pay raises also. So if congress is not doing what we elected them to do then they do not get a pay raise. By doing this we can start holding them responsible for the money that is wasted by paying them and they do not get anything accomplished. I know if I did not accomplish anything on my job then I would not get paid let alone a pay raise.
