The amendment US 2013 National Defense Authorization Act ordering the sale of 66 F-16 C/D has been already approved by the House of Representatives.
US Senate should kill this amendment. If this amendment survives in the US Senate, President Barack Obama should veto this amendment.
Because the sale of F-16 C/D to the ROC would surely jeopardize the security of the region. Furthermore, it would surely benefit the Red Gang China.
1) Japan has about 200 F-15 fighter jets and only 20 F-15 are deployed at Okinawa, whereas (Taiwan) the ROC in exile has 500 fighter jets.
2) Japan didn’t anticipate the Air force of the Republic China in exile (now on Taiwan) as an enemy and threat to Japan, but now the ROC is a potential enemy.
