As the Second Amendment reads:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Accepting that the entire nation is a militia, it is the duty of the US government to do as the amendment calls and regulate.
We the undersigned demand the US government begin strict regulation of the sale of all firearms, the sale of all ammunition, and the use of all firearms.
We ask this recognizing countries such as Canada, England, & Japan, countries that strictly regulate their firearm sales, have significantly LESS firearm related deaths. In the hope that these laws will help quell the tide of mass shooting such as the one in Newtown Connecticut.
