Democracy requires that government be held accountable to the people, but the government cannot be held accountable when its actions are secret from public view.
Edward Snowden has risked his life so the American people can know of the abuses of the NSA. He is an American hero with more patriotism for his country than all career politicians in Washington, DC, combined. Meanwhile, Senator Dianne Feinstein, as chair of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence during the NSA's abuses, is a traitor against the American people.
We urge President Obama not only to pardon Edward Snowden, but to support him in a run for Congress in 2014.
