We use outdated 20th century personal identification methods for a 21st century problem of who is legally in America.

Created by R.R. on October 26, 2011

We still employ 20th century identification techniques to a 21st century problem of identifying who is or isn’t a legal American citizen, terorist or foreign worker. We have credit cards, drivers licenses, debit cards, Social Security cards, Green cards, visas, passports etc. Personal information about us is now spread helter skelter everywhere. Credit card companies process personal data anywhere on the planet yet the federal government cannot today secure, encrypt and verify all of our vital information using one card. This identification technology is in place today. Why isn’t this approach being taken by government as viable 21st century step toward controlling terrorism, illegal immigration? A national ID card with encrypted biometric and other pertinent data is long overdue.
