The medical marijuana issue should be placed in the hand of the voters. In the Veterans Administration veterans are routinely prescribed class 1 drugs like codeine under doctors care. Why is it the same cannot be done for medical marijuana? As a society we have successfully regulate it tobacco, alcohol and firearms. Why not Marijuana? Veterans should not have to turn to the black market for medicine. When our federal government had it in its power to ease our suffering.
