We, Vietnamese Americans and Friends, ask Mr. Obama to address the issue of freedom and basic human rights for Vietnam

Created on May 01, 2016

In Vietnam, people expressing basic human rights, such as religious freedom, freedom of expression, right to live under a free, clean, and healthy environment are being suppressed, forbidden and severely prosecuted.
We ask Mr. President on his upcoming trip to Vietnam in May 2016 to address these issues with the leading communist authorities in Vietnam. We demand that the US government does not give any favorable treatment to the communist nation until such basic rights are available to all people who live in Vietnam, just like we have them here in our United States of America and all over the Free World
