BTC answer to no one but themselves making them a dictators over local phone service. because they are a cooperative they are not regulated or accountable under TRA. If you want landline phone service you have no choice but to purchase BTC service at an outrageous price. We want BTC to price match fees from other company's such as AT&T for phone and internet service. We want the ability to put in our own lines in our own home up to and including the network interface device IE outside service box without a price hike.
