We Want Justice

With the increasing frequency of Black men being killed cold-blooded at the hands of White police officers nationwide, it is imperative that the Federal government takes steps to avert this crisis. It is unacceptable that every Black man, woman must live daily in fear of being killed by those they hire to protect them. The anxiety that permeates the Black community nationwide as we live with the reality that any day, at any moment, we could hear that their son, nephew, uncle, daddy, friend, sister,, niece, or other Black was shot by a police officer for no fault of their own is palpable. The federal government must exercise its power to assist in re-training, sensitizing White police officers and in deterring them from employing such aggressive strategy in policing our neighborhoods.
