We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

We want paid time off for victims of domestic violence

Created by A.H. on December 10, 2016

Domestic violence is a serious issue many Americans face. When someone is involved in domestic violence many facets of their life are affected. It is reported that those facing this challenge miss up to 7.5 days of work a year. This makes those individuals vulnerable for losing their job during an already difficult time. We would like for all 50 states to pass a paid time off, Family Violence Leave Act. Five states (CT,MA, OR, VT and CA) have already done so. Now it is time for every state in our nation to stand up to domestic violence.
