Most retired people have worked all of their lives and contributed to Social Security. Social Security was solvent for years until the government dipped into it to pay for other things. We spent billions of dollars on the war in Iraq and Afghanistan for which there was no money budgeted for those things and now Congress wants to pay for it's foolishness on the backs of seniors and the poor.
Social Security needs to be strengthened only because they robbed money from it. Sign this petition and demand that Congress and the Senate not weaken it and continue to rob from it but to make it stronger. Thank you.
