We will withhold our votes for Hillary Clinton if the executive branch proceeds with this emergency scheduling of Kratom, Mitragyna speciosa. This is an important and valuable plant to many individuals in this country. Scientific evidence has shown that Kratom has high potential for medical use, as well as a high degree of safety. We deserve a chance to be heard fairly. As a voter who cares deeply about this issue, I will not be voting for Hillary Clinton should this emergency ban continue.
