We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

We would like congress to hold a vote to revise or remove the electoral college. Allow the popular vote to stand.

Created by C.B. on November 11, 2016

We would like congress to hold a vote to revise or remove the electoral college through constitutional amendment. This vote should ensure that the popular voice of America determines who holds our highest office. We ask that congress vote before December 16, 2016 to 1) Allow electors to vote in accordance with the national popular vote; 2) make each state distribution of electors beholden to districts, with the number of electors determined by population density within said district; or 3)to abolish the electoral college and allow the will of the American public, and its national result, to determine who is elected to the office of President of the United States.
