We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

We would like the Dept. of Education to mandate schools to add anti-bullying classes to their curriculum.

Created by C.C. on January 07, 2017

53% of 4th through 8th graders report being bullied.
166,000 kids stay home daily for fear of being bullied.
Kids who are bullied are 4 to 9% more likely to commit suicide.
These statistics need to change. The only thing schools do right now is maybe hold an assembly at the beginning of a school year to talk about bullying. If we are going to win this fight against bullying we need to do more. Right now schools require kids to take art, gym, and in some cases learn a foreign language. Why not require kids to take a class that may save their life? I think the US Dept. of Education needs to come up with an anti-bullying course that is a requirement for all kids to take at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. This should include cyber bullying. Its time we empower our children
