Although the first amendment is invaluable, there needs to be room for prosecution against the press when atrocities occur that can harm all of us. Examples of this are:
Broadcasting troop positions,
Revealing names of victims without permission, specifically, rape victims,
Justifying killers' acts
and glorifying murderers.
Broadcasting or presenting these things to the population is terrible, one even involving treason. We would like to know what the federal government, particularly, the Federal Communications Commission, does when presented with these events.
