In light of recent events (Sandy Hook) I believe it would be in law enforcement's benefit to have a list of people in their jurisdiction who own more than 3 firearms registered to them. In this way, they can be mindful when someone is "hoarding" guns as a threat to their neighborhood and community. With all the thoughts of stricter gun laws and bans on certain weapons, we still have to deal with the weapons already out there. Mr. LaPierre wants a mental persons list, I say law enforcement should have a list of gun owners as well.
