The 2nd amendment was created at a time when owning a musket gave a citizen technological parity with a US army soldier.
If this fact is to be interpreted as meaning that citizens have a legal right to technological parity with our governments military, legalize the private ownership of military assault rifles, drones, nuclear submarines, aircraft carriers, jet fighters, and weaponized biological agents for any citizen willing to spend the money.
