Weapons to plowshares and shelter.

Created by M.W. on September 23, 2011

In world, local and family affairs, issues of basic human needs are nearly always at the heart of all conflicts. Establishment of a local and international program to put aside weapons of war. The international collective would promote a new industry based upon the values of cooperation, mutual respect and common goals: food, family, friends, shelter and clothing. New and old industries would be created and resurrected at the local level and eventually be Incorporated into a worldwide collective that would promote self sufficiency and renewable technologies rather than war. At the heart of this program would be the re-establishment of hemp for industrial purposes including paper, textiles, biodegradable plastics, construction, health food, fuel and medicine. Industry will follow.
