wear Rainbow Flag pins at the upcoming G20 Summit in Russia.

Created by R.V. on August 10, 2013

In September of 2013, President Obama will attend the G20 Summit in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The president should wear a Rainbow Flag pin during the summit to show that America stands against discrimination of the LGBT community:

In June, Russia's President Vladamir Putin signed 3 laws the criminalize homosexuality and support for gay rights:

1. A law banning the adoption of Russian-born children to gay couples or any couple or single parent living in any country where marriage equality exists in any form.

2. A law allowing police officers to arrest tourists and foreign nationals they suspect of being homosexual, lesbian or “pro-gay” and detain them for up to 14 days.

3. A law classifying “homosexual propaganda” as pornography (includes telling anyone that homosexuality is normal).
