Whereas the President of the United States has in the past worn a White Sox cap while throwing out the first pitch at Nationals games, we respectfully request that the President of the United States refrain from wearing any headgear bearing any logo other than a curly W, or the letters DC while engaged in the act of throwing out the first pitch at Washington Nationals baseball games out of respect of the many fine achievements of the Washington Nationals and in consideration of the hearbreak baseball fans in the Nation's Capital experienced in the 2012 playoffs.
