Since we're not going to limit access to firearms, let's legislate responsible ownership.

Created by B.H. on June 19, 2014

Since access to firearms is something nobody in Washington would like to address, we (the Congress, Senate, and the White House) should introduce a "responsible firearm ownership" bill. It should contain at minimum:

1. Any person whose firearms are used in a crime of any kind and it is found that access to the firearms was granted due to them not being properly secured, should face criminal charges with mandatory sentencing. Further, anyone who allows juveniles unsupervised access to firearms should face criminal charges with mandatory sentencing.

2. Anyone who wishes to carry a concealed weapon should be mandated to attend and pass, annual active shooter response classes. People should prove they know how top operate and carry if they so choose - cops and military personnel do.
