The Trans-Pacific Partnership is a trade agreement that is being negotiated in secret, with only major multi-national corporations having input. Why is that? ALL Americans will be affected. Just like NAFTA it WILL affect labor and wages in this country and can impact the economy for years to come. I understand that we live in a different world today, where many more countries need to participate in trade, but near as I can tell from what little has been discovered, ONLY big corporations will benefit. Copyright holders and pharmaceutical companies will reap most of the benefits. So what's the problem? If it is such a good deal for the world, we Americans are part of the world and should be apprised of the deal. The very fact that it is being done in secret should make us worry!
