This petition, if enacted, would remove seniority and leadership positions from the Speaker of the House, Senate Majority Leader, and the House and Senate Budget Committee Chairmen if they refuse to create budgets that the whole Congress can agree to.
Today there is a lack of consequenses in government for partisanship, incompetence, and the lack of leadership we see. Removing the power and perks from the leaders who fail to do their jobs should be incentive for them to serve the American people and not their politically charged constituents.
