when pressing for the rights of other classes not to forget the rights of the disabled American who are overlooked

Created by L.H. on February 19, 2013

The disabled person is often the last person hired and the first person to receive a furlough in harsh economic times. Disabled people face barriers as high as Mount Everest when it comes to employment and access to mainstream America.
Many of the disabled can walk but lack the dexterity of his able bodied citizen. So when pushing for equal pay for women, the rights of immigrants, or the freedom of sexual orientation, please don't forget the disabled where possible would like a hand not a hand out and be a part of society.
