Goal: To replace the existing waste management program with an onsite, self sustaining recycling program.
Who can make this happen: School President, SOCCD, students, and faculty.
Why should you care: *Saves money as a reallocation of fees paid to the company for sorting could go to help with transportation or other offers *Can be an introduction of new jobs *Diverts more away from landfills and help increase sustainability *Can give you an opportunity to take first hand action and responsibility in your direct environment *Can influence a positive change *Will create accountability without accusation
