The portion of the budet funding Federal employee benifits is almost as large as Social Security. Yet all we hear about is cutting Social Security and Medicare.
If the people have to feel the pain of cuts so should Federal employees and especially Congress. Eliminate elaborate healthcare for all federal employees sign up for Obamacare like everyone.
Eliminate or modify pensions. A Congressman can serve one term and gets a lifetime pension and healthcare. Most of us have to work 20 to 30 years and if we are lucky we ge a small pension and not healthcare.
This only the begining. Congress especially has created some very cush jobs for themselves.
