White House to Honor Police

Created by M.P. on July 14, 2016

Given the recent horrendous murder of five police officers in Dallas, Texas this past week, I think it would be proper for the White House to be lighted in an appropriate color to recognize the sacrifice made by these and other officers across the nation. I think this should be done now as part of a concerted effort to keep the issue of targeted violence against our police departments in the forefront of the current national discussion, and thereafter as part of National Police Week beginning in 2017.
