As the White House is a symbol of our nation along with the Capitol building, Mt Rushmore, and others. We have for decades shown these monuments under lights at night and these have been standard flood lights. Recently, however, the White House has taken it upon themselves to place colored cells in front of those lights. The events that were honored by the W.H. were not copied by any other federal building or monument and other people wonder why other events were NOT honored. This makes the W.H. lights are NOT a function of the Federal Government because you didn't see colors on the Capitol building nor the Washington monument, etc. We request and expect that the W.H. maintain the same decorum as the other federal buildings and NOT continue to turn the White House into a billboard!!
