As someone who has read quite a few responses to petitions made on this very website, may I just say I am astounded. A large portion of these responses include what the president believes, what the president wants, what the president has done, yet Barack Obama hasn't been the one responding to said petitions.
I, as well as all those who sign this petition, believe the one who responds should not tell us what "The president Believes", and instead actually take note of the petitions points and requests. So far, the responses are plagued with knowledge already known by the petition-makers and signers. It doesn't seem as though the government actually cares about these petitions.
