I suggest changing the name of “White House” to more suitable name “American House”, which is the official residence and principal workplace of the President of the United States located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest, Washington, D.C.
The building has been known in the past as President’s Palace, Presidential Mansion, President House, and Executive Mansion. It may be very well true that White House name was derived from Martha Washington’s home, White House Plantation in Virginia.
Our country political landscape has been changed and shall keep evolving, so, it is more appropriate to be called “American House” instead of “White House”.
