As a non-parent, I am a student and not permitted to receive EBT - (food stamps). I have two options because I do not qualify for financial aid. Drop out of school and enroll in a work program or not receive EBT and starve. Why are students taking more than 6 credits in college being punished if they cannot receive financial aid? A class withdrawal from my college prevents me from receiving financial aid and work-study.
I am left with 2 options, drop out of school or starve.
President Obama, please address the progressive support of education and required nutrition.
