We are the only industrialized country that does not have a national healthcare system. We have millions uninsured and people who die because they cannot afford healthcare or are denied insurance. Health insurance does not work since the incentive is to make money rather than keep people healthy. Healthcare is an inherent government service, just like firefighters or police. How would you feel if your were attacked but the police department wouldn't respond because you couldn't qualify for police insurance? National healthcare is a right, not a for profit industry.
