Why Can't President Obama Himself Respond To Our Petitions?

Created by R.M. on February 05, 2012

This petitioning system was supposed to be a groundmark for the people, as President Obama said last year. Yet, not a single one of our petitions has been directly reposnded to by the President, and none have been addressed by him. The people that respond to our petitions are just his representatives who respond to our petitions for him. Why can't President Obama himself respond to our petitions?

We want to know the President's views on our petitions and what he will do to address the issues of our petitions, not the "Administration's" views.

We the People petition President Obama himself to respond to each and every petition that passes the signature threshold by posting a video of President Obama himself responding to the petition.
