Why did we spend so much bailing out banks and large corporations but not major cities which so many people rely on?

Created by S.M. on July 20, 2013

We have spent so much on the companies that have caused this dire economic situation. We have suffered the consequences while they receive the benefits yet we work to save our homes and livelihood. Detroit at one time helped save the allied forces when it transformed all of its manufacturing might into a war effort that not only helped America become who we are but also helped change the way we look at freedom! When we let the big companies have more say and our government dictate who we help and who we save we lose our conscience, and who we have become as a free people.

It's time to stop helping self-serving companies and start helping the individuals that made us the PROUD people that we are. Who's more important the companies or the people who work and buy and vote? Save Detroit!
