Why Does the First Family of the United States Spend So Much on Themselves?

Created by A.R. on March 12, 2013

Addressed to President Obama:
Dear Sir,
In 2011, your family spent 1.4 billion dollars on their luxurious lifestyle. This is more than any other president in the past. In fact, the first family in Great Britain only spent 57.8 million of taxpayer's money in 2011. The English people are upset about that amount. So I can't help but to be upset about 1.4 billion dollars in a single year. Since claims made by you in the past are that you care about the little guy, please release the exact amount spent on the first family of the United States in 2011 and 2012 including exactly where and on what the taxpayer's money was spent if I succeed in getting enough signatures. 1.4 billion dollars is approximately 28,000 homes for the homeless and more than 280 million $5 meals for the hungry.
