Indian citizen working in USA after getting H1 visa renewed in USA are required to get their passport re stamped in India before they leave for USA. As a result Indians with renewed visa come to India and due to delay in stamping process they had to wait for several months loosing their Air ticket and job in USA. Why such rules? if visa has been renewed in USA why to get the passport re stamped in India?
