Why it takes a veteran compensation pay 24 times longer to get approved then it does to get approved for welfare...

Created by M.L. on June 10, 2014

My husband is a disabled veteran, and he now has a wife and child to take care of while he goes to school and try to get back to a normal life after the military. When we signed him up for military compensation pay (which he is 100 percent deserving of) we were told that it would take at least 18 months up to 3 years... And we were not married when he started recieving compensation but now that we are married and have a child his compensation is supposed to go up. we are close to a year after our son was born and still no compenasation upgrade for me or my son... But when we went to sign up for food stamps... 1 month... 1 month it took them to get us approved... What the heck is that? This is how we treat the people when send to war for us?? Call for full VA reform!
