It is not fair when I ( a correctional officer) have to cover my tattoos but a state trooper does not police dont either. I am the one that has to deal with the criminals after they are given time and are mad. I have to work in dorms that reach 130 degrees in long sleeve thick shirts with thick black pants and a clip on tie. Its so safe for my heath to have a heat stroke because I have tattoos I don't want to be singled out anymore. I want to wear short sleeve shorts and enjoy sunny days . I understand I am working but that is no reason to say its unprofessional when most people in our states capital have felonies and dwi and they are our leaders but if u have tattoos you have to cover them. Let us be equal tattoos or not!
