In this time of budgetary crisis all streams of revenue must be considered. We the people ask that the NFL, a multi-billion dollar company, should pay its fair share of the national financial burden of this nation. Too often the billionaire owners of the NFL blackmail the citizens of this nation into using our tax money to build their nearly billion dollar stadiums, all while they avoid contributing their fair share. Mr. President, could you please explain to us why the NFL deserves the same tax exempt status as churches, schools and charitable organizations, and if a reasonable explanation cannot be given, then can you ask congress to please remove this tax exemption.
