Let us prevent more mass shootings. If we want to live in a society with firearms, we need to pay for the costs of that liberty. Why not leverage the large amount of gun sales to support our protection.
I propose there should be a tax on all firearm and ammunition sales. This money would be earmarked for training and providing armed security or police at all gun free zones.
Local government should be given the choice whether to use this support or not. This would also include setting guidelines on how it would be utilized or restricted.
