Why should anyone support the President or any Democrat who would support a cut in social security?

Why should anyone continue to support this President or any Democrat when he is supporting cut and changes to social security? Furthermore, since the president cannot run for re-election why would anyone support financially or at the ballot box any Democrat who believes this moronic position is good policy when there are billions in corporate welfare that could be cut to stabalize medicare, restore infrastructure and bring america back to number 1 in education which is the real driver of economic growth in this economy? As a supporter of this President it would be better to have his legacy end with being the first president of color than to have it read that he was the President who ddestroyed the national safety net that lifted millions of seniors out of poverty
